Rockingham County Fair!

Flying Circus Hot Air Balloon in Bealeton, VA. Colorful balloons can be seen from 6am – 6pm.  Balloon activities and rides can be arranged.  Admission is $10 per adult/ $3 per kid. Flying circus airshow at 2:30.

1850′s Birthday Party on the Bushong Farm at the New Market battlefield. Costumed, historical interpretors celebrate a 19th century birthday. 11-4pm.

21- Mrs. Warren’s Victorian Tea at the Virginia Quilt Museum, 1:30 pm.  $15 gets you a full English tea and tour of the exhibit ‘Material Images’.  Seating is limited, so call 433-3818 or e-mail events@vaquiltmuseum.org for reservations.

Gypsy Hill Park Plywood Boat Ragatta in Staunton.  Build a water-worthy boat using only plywood, fasterners, 2×4′s and duct tape before the event and race it across Gypsy Hill Park pool.  For adults and children as young as 6.  Pre-registration and $10 due by August 10th.  Call 540-332-3945 for details.
