Ballet Extension, located in Bridgewater, is the only dance school in the area to offer you a professional size studio (2400 square feet) with a sprung floor covered with marley. Ballet Extension focuses on careful instruction in correct ballet technique as the basis for all dance forms. Complimentary instruction in other dance forms such as modern, jazz and tap and also gymnastics are offered during summer camps and periodic workshops.

In MOTION School of Dance on South High Street, Harrisonburg offers classes ages 3 to adult in Ballet/Pointe, Tap, Jazz/Hip-Hop – Lyrical, Modern with a June recital.
Rockingham Ballet Theatre, located in Bridgewater, seeks to inspire and educate through the performance of classical ballet. Particularly well known for its annual “Nutcracker” performance at Bridgewater College. Dancers 8 yrs. old and up can audition for membership.
