Registration:

Sellers need to register by contacting Jolanthe Erb {homeschoolcreations@gmail.com}.

There is a $5 fee for registration which will be deducted from your profits (only if they exceed $5).  We would also appreciate your  volunteer help so that we can keep it as profitable as possible for sellers!

Volunteers are needed to help set-up Friday from 9am – 12pm and Saturday morning as well as clean-up when the Curriculum Sale is finished Saturday afternoon.

Selling:

Sellers are responsible to set prices for their own material and mark them by carefully taping the provided curriculum sale tags to the inside, back cover of books and where appropriate on other items. Please tape the tags to the items as shown below so that we can easily remove the tags during checkout.  Each card should be filled out entirely. Sale tags are on page 2 of the Curriculum Sale pdf and print 8 to a sheet.

This year we created an EDITABLE pdf file so you can type your name into the form and save yourself a little time!  Type your name into the first box and it will appear on ALL the pages! If you have multiple items to price at $1.00, type it in the blank and print off multiple copies!

Sellers may also want to keep a list of all the items they bring so that they will know which items to look for at pick-up time. You might want to consider taping a list of these items onto the front of your manila envelope. The tracking sheet is a part of the Curriculum Sale pdf download {page 3}. We will not check off items or keep track of items ~ this is for your personal use.

Sellers should also bring a 9×13 manila envelope for collecting money with one of the seller tags {page 4 of the pdf} taped to the back flap. When pricing, please keep all items priced in increments of 25 cents. We will mail a check to you within a few days of the sale.

Drop-off:  Someone will be available during the hours of 9am – 12pm in the Activity Room at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Friday morning, April 20th. Any books dropped off on Friday will be placed on the tables for you.  Alternatively, books may be brought just prior to the swap as early as 7:30am. Sellers who bring their items on Saturday will have to help place their items on the appropriately labeled tables.

Earnings:  Sellers will be able to take ALL their earnings, except for the $5 registration fee which will be deducted from your check.  If your earnings are less than $5, no check will be mailed and no further fees incurred. To ensure timely receipt, please be sure your address is filled out on your seller tag.  You should receive your check in less than a week from the sale.

Sellers are also responsible to take any leftover items with them, or they will be donated immediately following clean-up {regardless if the ‘pick-up’ box was checked on the items}. Pick-up time will be from  12 pm til 2 pm. We will not be able to store items that are not picked up by sellers.

Purchasing:  As much as possible, we would like to work with a cash system. Please try to bring cash for payment. We realize that there are items that will be of higher value at times and we will also accept checks. We appreciate your grace and patience with us during your checkout time, especially in consideration of the magnitude of sorting and pricing that is required at the end. We want to do this accurately and provide you all with a great buying and selling situation!
